Meet The Dentist
Dr. Dimple Patel, DMD
Dr. Dimple Patel is a native of South Carolina and was born and raised in the Carolinas. For her undergraduate work, Dr. Patel attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA where she attained degrees in Psychology and Religion while also completing her science requirements for dental school. Upon graduation with honors from Emory in 2000, Dr. Patel returned home to attend dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. While there, she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and was named a Hinman Scholar. In 2005, after graduating 2nd in her class, Dr. Patel returned to Atlanta to pursue her career in general dentistry. She has been delivering excellent dental care to her community in the Greater Atlanta area for the last 17 years before joining Leading Edge Dentistry.
Dr. Patel has taken countless continuing education courses to become extremely proficient in all aspects of general dentistry. She has an extensive skill set with which to perform a broad range of procedures, including endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, implants, and general and cosmetic dentistry. However, it is Dr. Patel’s compassionate and caring nature that truly sets her apart from others. She strives to not only to restore your smile and improve your oral health but your overall health as well.
In her spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young boys, cooking, traveling, and being a huge Atlanta sports fan, especially the Falcons.
Meet The Dentist
Dr. Radha Patel, DMD
Ever since high school, Dr. Radha Patel knew she wanted to join the healthcare field and make her mark by helping people. After high school, she attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree. During her time in Athens, she took the time to meet many dental professionals and become involved in numerous dental non-profit organizations. It was during this time that she realized her true passion for dentistry.
After completing her undergraduate work at UGA, Dr. Radha Patel attained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to complete another year of advanced education in general dentistry from the Veteran’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. At the hospital, she was able to treat a wide range of patients that could not have been seen in private practices due to medical complexities.
Dr. Patel has been practicing general dentistry in Atlanta for the past six years. During this time, she has continued learning and refining her skills. She has certifications in sedation and offers laser therapy for gum disease. She finds dentistry to be very rewarding as it allows her the opportunity to put a smile on the faces of her patients while also improving the quality of their oral health. Her priority is to ensure each individual is comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Patel enjoys seeing and treating patients of all ages and is excited to meet each and every one of you.
In her free time, Dr. Radha Patel enjoys traveling with her husband, trying out new restaurants in the city, and exploring new hiking spots. She and her husband recently welcomed their first child in September 2021.
